Geometry rich in contrast in pure precious metal: the silver sculpture „Melody“
Created in 2025, the sculpture „Melody“ by the artist Pierre-Paul Maillé is a striking example of the deliberate use of visual opposites in solid precious metal. The work was realised in the demanding solid silver casting process from approx. 3.4 kilograms of pure fine silver and has a height of approx. 16 cm. Its sculptural distinction lies in its pronounced multi-view quality: depending on the viewing angle, the geometry shifts between organically soft and geometrically angular forms. This effect is reinforced by a differentiated surface treatment in which highly polished silver surfaces are set in hard contrast to darkly matt patinated areas. The work is limited to a worldwide small series of just 30 signed and numbered examples. Through the exclusive material value of the solid fine silver, „Melody“ combines a sophisticated artistic expression with a crisis-proof tangible asset investment.
Please note: the silver price is subject to market fluctuations; the final sale price is based on the prevailing price of fine silver and will be advised on request.
