The charge, halted for ever: Bulle by Tilmann Krumrey
Legs planted wide, horns lowered and neck tensed – Krumrey’s bull stands powerfully in the room. The musculature is modelled in detail and the firm stance of the four legs grounds the figure, while the gaze fixed straight ahead and the upward-sweeping horns signal unmistakable readiness to charge. The shimmering dark patinated surface underlines the animal’s sheer force and contrasts effectively with the light, polished patina of its counterpart “Bär”.
As a solitary piece, too, the bull is a strong sculptural statement: the classic emblem of upswing, attack and market optimism, cast from 5 kg of pure fine silver. Each example is part of a limited, numbered edition and bears its edition number, the fineness hallmark and the artist’s signature.
Please note: the silver price is subject to market fluctuations; the final sale price depends on the prevailing price of fine silver and will be quoted on request.
